Singapore stocks: STI resumes Thursday afternoon trading at 3,258.13, up 0.6% on day
SINGAPORE stocks resumed Thursday afternoon trading in positive territory, with the Straits Times Index rising 19.03 points, or 0.6 per cent to 3,258.13 as at 1.01pm.
Gainers outnumbered losers 165 to 132, after about 581.1 million shares worth S$487.2 million in total changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Rex International, which fell 0.9 per cent to 10.6 Singapore cents, with 23.7 million shares traded.
Other active index stocks included Wilmar International which rose 1.6 per cent to S$3.21, and Singtel which was up 1.3 per cent to S$3.23.
