Stocks to watch: ST Engineering, SBI Offshore, SMRT
THE following stocks may be in focus on Friday:
Singapore Technologies (ST) Engineering: Its president and chief executive officer Tan Pheng Hock will relinquish his position on Sept 30, 2016, with successor Vincent Chong slated to take over from Oct 1, 2016.
SBI Offshore: The company has lodged a report with the Commercial Affairs Department in relation to possible breaches of securities laws and other offences related to transactions involving a former associate company.
SMRT Corporation: Whatever the outcome of state-investor Temasek Holdings' offer to take mainboard-listed SMRT private, the transport operator will still carry out restructuring plans that it has already laid out, its chief Desmond Kuek said on Thursday.
