Country also a 'hotbed' for hosting malicious URLs in S.E. Asia, second in region as malware-attack target

SINGAPORE is the most vulnerable country in South-east Asia for business e-mail compromise scams and a hotspot for hosting malicious Web addresses, says cyber security solutions provider Trend Micro.
Among business e-mail compromise (BEC) incidents that the company detected in South-east Asia, 27.3 per cent of took place in Singapore; this was followed by Malaysia (26.1 per cent) and Indonesia (25 per cent).
