SpaceX rocket nails safe return landing in space flight first

Mission successfully delivers its payload of all 11 satellites to orbit

The upgraded Falcon 9 rocket lifting off at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Monday. Its suborbital main stage returned 10 minutes later to a landing site about 10km south of its launch pad.

A SPACEX Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Florida on Monday with a payload of communications satellites before the reusable main-stage booster turned around, soared back to Cape Canaveral and landed safely near its launch pad in a dramatic space flight first.
