CEVS extended until June 2015
THE Carbon Emissions-based Vehicle Scheme (CEVS) will be extended by six months until June 2015, with a view towards continuing the scheme thereafter, Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said yesterday.
This is because the CEVS was introduced last year amid changes to the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) system and the introduction of tiered Additional Registration Fee (ARF).
"We should observe the full impact of CEVS before making refinements," said Mr Tharman.
At the same time, the Green Vehicle Rebate scheme for commercial vehicles, buses and motorcycles will also be extended…
