Modi to make 'significant' visit to Tokyo soon

He and Abe expect to forge strategic and economic ties

India's recently-installed prime minister Narendra Modi will pay an official three-day visit to Japan at the end of this month, in a trip interpreted as bearing particular economic and strategic significance, given the current backdrop of strained relations among East Asian powers.
