Passenger car COE premiums fall
[SINGAPORE] Premiums for passenger car certificates of entitlement (COEs) softened yesterday, with most prospective buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude, said some motor distributors.
A Category A COE, meant for cars below 1,600cc and 130hp, fell $2,499 to $63,190; a Cat B one, for cars above 1,600cc or 130 hp, slipped $799 to $67,304.
Cat E, the open category which currently seems to be tracking Cat B, was flat; it inched up $44 to $67,334.
