TO better equip officers to deal with situations such as the Little India riot, the police will beef up its resources and explore the use of more advanced technology.
This was revealed during Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's visit yesterday morning to the Rochor Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC), where he met 38 police and SCDF staff who were the first respondents at the scene on Dec 8.
