TEO Howe Yuin does not think it is unreasonable for employees to work on their days off. As the director and head of financial services recruitment group PeopleSearch Singapore, he expects employees to be accountable to their clients - even when they are on holiday.

"I don't expect them to have to respond but employees must be accountable to hand over properly. Clients have needs, and we can't ignore them. Somebody needs to be there to attend to them," said Mr Teo.
