Anthem ends battle for Cigna after court ruling
Both firms now fight over who's to blame for the deal's collapse after judge rules Cigna can walk away from the US$48b merger

Anthem said on Friday it won't appeal against a Delaware judge's ruling late on Thursday that Cigna can walk away from the US$48 billion health insurance merger. That leaves the companies to fight over who's to blame for the deal's collapse.
