LIA looks into health insurance task force suggestions

FOLLOWING the launch of the Health Insurance Task Force (HITF) recommendation paper last month, the life insurance industry has set up a working committee to review the recommendations, specifically those on the pre-authorisation framework, panel of preferred doctors and improving product design.
Khoo Kah Siang, president of the Life Insurance Association Singapore (LIA Singapore) said on Tuesday that he hopes that in six months, the committee will "have something broad that we are able to report on and work on".
