Nets to roll out new e-payment devices

CELEBRATING its 30th anniversary, e-payments provider Nets on Wed-nesday unveiled its Nets 2.0 strategy which aims to transform payments and empower consumers with the ability to complete transactions using their mobile devices in a quick, secure and efficient manner.
The company is developing, among other things, a virtual Nets card, a tap and go Nets cash card embedded with devices such as fitness trackers, and a platform to help schools manage small payments that parents make for events such as excursions by allowing online payments and integrating these payments with the school's banking system.
