OCBC claims Q3 lead in bancassurance market

    OCBC Bank, Singapore's grande dame of bancassurance, says it has pipped DBS Bank in third-quarter market share, following a surge in sales that gave it 34 per cent of the market.

    OCBC, which pioneered bancassurance and has been the market leader for the past 14 years, said that it had a good Q3 in insurance sales, with total weighted premium in excess of S$100 million.
