Schroder S'pore, NTUC Income offer ILP version of global multi-asset income fund
SCHRODER Investment Management (Singapore) Ltd on Thursday launched an investment-linked product (ILP) version of its successful Schroder ISF Global Multi-Asset Income fund.
It said it is partnering insurer NTUC Income to offer this, making it the first ILP fund in Singapore to invest in a global multi-asset income strategy.
The Schroder ISF Global Multi-Asset Income fund invests primarily in high yielding bonds and high dividend yielding equities globally.
It aims to provide investors with a sustainable and consistent income stream, as well as long-term capital growth potential, said Schroder Singapore.
The ILP version, named the Global Income Fund, feeds into the Schroder ISF Global Multi-Asset Income fund and will target potential payouts of 4 to 5 per cent per annum.
The Schroder ISF Global Multi-Asset Income fund stands at more than US$6 billion as at Jan 30. It was launched in April 2012. Since its launch, it has generated a return of 30 per cent, said Schroder Singapore.
