Temasek unit Fullerton appoints head of multi-asset strategies

[SINGAPORE] Fullerton Fund Management Co, owned by Singapore's Temasek Holdings, has hired Pranay Gupta as head of multi-asset strategies, a new role that it has created as it seeks to offer more investment offerings combining different asset classes.

"As investors search for enhanced returns amid increasing volatility, multi-asset investing has become a specialized investment skill," Fullerton Chief Executive Officer Manraj Sekhon said in an e-mailed statement.

"The ability to tailor multi-asset solutions according to their risk return parameters is essential for our clients."

Before joining Fullerton, Gupta was chief investment officer for Asia at Swiss private bank Lombard Odier and at ING Investment Management, according to the statement.
