Ten Japanese freight forwarders and their Singapore subsidiaries or affiliates have been fined S$7.15 million by the Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS), the local competition watchdog, for engaging in illegal price-fixing activities, thus infringing section 34 of the Competition Act.
