ABOUT 50 companies listed on Singapore Exchange (SGX) with a total market value of $46.2 billion have reported business activity specific to Thailand in their most recent annual financial statements, a market update by SGX showed yesterday.
These 49 companies, which have included Thailand as a geographic segment, represent about 7 per cent of all listed securities on SGX as at April. The three largest capitalised stocks with such Thai exposure are Thai Beverage, Total Access Communication and KrisEnergy, SGX said in its "My Gateway" report.
The first two companies reported all of their full-year revenue last year coming from Thailand, while KrisEnergy reported 82.8 per cent of its revenue originating from Thailand for the same period.
