50% more ETFs launched in Jan than in Dec

INTEREST in exchange traded funds (ETFs) appears to be picking up, if the number of launches is anything to go by.
January saw 42 new fund launches around the world - 50 per cent more than the 28 funds that were launched in December - according to independent data and analytics firm Markit.
