THE chief executive officer of 701Search Pte Ltd, Julian Tan, will be returning to Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) to head its new digital division.
Julian Tan joined 701Search, a joint venture between SPH, Norway's Schibsted Media Group and Norway's telecommunications group Telenor, as its CEO in August 2008.
Under his leadership, 701Search grew from a start-up in a single location to a regional company with a strong footprint in the South-east Asian region. The firm specialises in online classifieds services for the Asia-Pacific region.
