AIA appoints group chief risk officer, S'pore CEO

THE chief executive of AIA Singapore, Tan Hak Leh, has been appointed group chief risk officer of AIA Group from Sept 1.
He will become a member of AIA's group executive committee and relocate to Hong Kong for his new role. Patrick Teow will take over as CEO of AIA Singapore from Sept 1.
Ng Keng Hooi, regional chief executive of AIA Group, expressing thanks to Mr Tan for his contributions, said: "Since joining AIA Singapore in June 2011, Hak Leh has done a fantastic job in leading AIA's successful growth in Singapore and enhancing its reputation in the market."
