THE US Federal Reserve is unlikely to tighten the interest rate this year, given global concerns over deflation, and as oil prices have declined, senior executives from fund management Amundi Asset Management said on Tuesday.
"We're still in a world of reflation," said Philippe Ithurbide, global head of research, analysis and strategy at Amundi, during a media briefing, referring to the boost in money supply in order to spur economic growth.
