Anchor Resources gets nod for Malaysia Lubuk Mandi mine works
ANCHOR Resources has been given the green light for underground mining and development works at the Lubuk Mandi Mine by Malaysia's Minerals and Geoscience Department from Oct 12 , 2017 to Oct 31 , 2019. Trial runs of mining works will start from mid-November this year.
The mining agreement was inked in May this year between the company's wholly owned subsidiary Angka Alamjaya Sdn Bhd (AASB), and Great Aims Resources Sdn Bhd (GAR).
GAR took over mining operations in August this year, and has since built a winching control room and tunnel entrance. Its machinery is capable of producing 20 to 25 parts per million of gold concentrate.
