Asian Pay TV Q4 net profit up 0.8%
ASIAN Pay Television Trust (APTT) reported a marginal 0.8 per cent improvement in net profit attributable to unitholders at S$16.34 million for the final quarter from S$16.21 million a year ago.
Revenue in the three months to December 2016 fell 2.1 per cent to S$83.9 million from S$85.62 million.
The trust - whose portfolio comprises TBC, a leading provider of pay-TV and broadband services in Taiwan - posted earnings per unit of 1.14 Singapore cents for the quarter versus 1.13 Singapore cents previously.
It declared a distribution per unit of 1.625 Singapore cents for the quarter, down from 2.25 Singapore cents in the previous year.
This brings total distributions declared for the year to 6.5 Singapore cents per unit which the trust said is expected to be consistent for FY2017.
