AsiaPhos says no casualty at its mines and facilities from Sichuan quake
ASIAPHOS Limited said on Thursday that its mines and production facilities in Sichuan, China were not affected by the Sichuan earthquake.
"There was also no disruption to the group's operations and no report of any casualty at the group's mines and production facilities," it added.
"The group will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as and when there are any significant developments."
Its announcement was in response to news of the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Jiuzhaigou County, Sichuan, on Tuesday. The epicentre of the Sichuan earthquake was some 300-km away from the group's mines and production facilities.
