THAI Beverage Public Co posted a 73 per cent leap in its first-quarter net profit on higher revenue and stronger margins.

The food and beverage group's net profit attributable to owners for the three months ended March 31, 2014, was 5.97 billion baht (S$230 million), or 0.24 baht per share, up from 3.45 billion baht, or 0.14 baht per share, a year ago.
