Biosensors Q3 profit falls 33%, hit by lower licensing revenue

MEDICAL devices company Biosensors International posted weaker third quarter results for its fiscal year 2015, weighed down by lower licensing revenue and unfavourable foreign exchange impact.
On Thursday, it reported a 33 per cent fall in net profit to US$7.44 million for the three months ended Dec 31, 2014. This represents earnings per share of 0.44 US cent, down from the 0.65 US cent in the third quarter of its fiscal year 2015.
