BOC Aviation's six-month net profit rises nearly 24%
BOC Aviation's net profit for the six months ended June 30 rose 23.8 per cent year on year to a record US$212 million.
The aircraft leasing firm's revenue increased 8.2 per cent to US$579 million, on the back of stronger contributions from lease rental income as well as gains on sale of aircraft.
Earnings per share were US$0.31. It has declared an interim dividend of US$0.061 per share.
It currently has a portfolio of 265 owned and managed aircraft, with an average aircraft age of 3.3 years and an average remaining lease term of 7.2 years for its owned aircraft fleet.
