THE bond market in Singapore might have picked up overall but one corner has remained forlornly silent since the year began.
In the offfshore and marine (O&M) sector, no companies have tapped the local bond market since November last year. Instead, some have turned to other fund-raising methods amid climbing bond yields as investors grow wary of the potential fallout from a prolonged slump in crude oil prices.
