Bumper dividends from pandemic winners in FY21
Broadly higher payouts and relaxation of Covid restrictions also indicate better outlook for FY22, analysts say

MORE than half of Singapore's largest listed companies paid out at least as much in dividends per share for FY2021 as they did in FY19. Some companies that benefited from pandemic-related trends also paid out the largest dividends they have ever done in their listed history.
Analysts said the solid payout numbers are a reflection of improving financial performance, and they expect dividends for FY22 to be even stronger.
