Buy activity falls and selling remains low
BUYING fell while selling among directors was low for the fourth straight week based on filings on Singapore Exchange in the last week of November.
A total of 16 companies recorded 30 purchases worth S$3.68 million versus two firms with two disposals worth S$1.69 million. The buy figures were down from the previous week's 22 companies, 41 purchases and S$16.49 million. The sales, on the other hand, were consistent with the previous week's two firms, three disposals and S$2.95 million.
Aside from directors, buyback activity fell last week with 17 companies that posted 71 repurchases worth S$42.2 million. The number of firms was up from the previous week's 15 companies but the number of trades and value were down from the previous week's 80 repurchases worth S$63.7 million.
