Buying and selling by directors flat for second straight week

THE buying and selling by directors were flat for the second straight week based on filings on Singapore Exchange from April 18 to 22. A total of 12 companies recorded 27 purchases worth S$2.35 million versus four firms with eight disposals worth S$1.23 million.
The number of companies on the buying side was sharply down from the previous week's 16 firms while the buy value was sharply up from the previous week's purchases worth S$0.94 million. The number of purchases, however, was consistent with the previous week's 28 acquisitions.
On the selling side, the number of firms and trades were consistent with the previous week's three companies and eight disposals while the sell value was up from the previous week's disposals worth S$0.93 million.
