Buying by directors falls, selling rises
Buy value slightly up; buybacks and insider sales form bulk of significant trades last week.
THE buying by directors fell for the second straight week with 10 companies that recorded 21 purchases worth S$1.45 million based on filings on Singapore Exchange (SGX) from March 13 to 17.
The number of firms and trades were sharply down from the previous week's 16 companies and 32 purchases. The buy value, however, was slightly up from the previous week's acquisitions worth S$1.39 million.
The selling, on the other hand, rose with six companies that recorded 13 disposals worth S$1.08 million. The figures were sharply up from the previous week's four firms, seven disposals and S$0.76 million.
