Malaysia: Shares open higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.41 points or 0.44 per cent to 1453.72 as at 9.12 am.
Volume was 177.55 million lots worth RM64.35 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 237 to 87.
