Challenger's new flagship store to open at Bugis Junction by Q2 2017
CHALLENGER Technologies on Thursday announced the lease confirmation of its new flagship store, spanning almost 14,000 sq ft at Bugis Junction.
It is set to open by the second quarter of next year, and will be located at basement 1 of the shopping mall.
This is in addition to the existing Challenger store at Bugis Junction's third floor, and adds to the group's overall portfolio of almost 50 stores across Singapore.
"Despite the soft retail climate, Challenger remains confident in the overall retail market and reaffirms its commitment to building up the local retail scene with the new flagship store announcement," said the mainboard-listed group in an announcement.
Its shares closed 4.12 per cent or two Singapore cents lower at S$0.465 per share on Thursday.
