Cheung Woh Technologies posts S$3.3m profit for Q4
CHEUNG Woh Technologies on Monday posted a net profit of S$3.3 million for its fourth quarter ended Feb 28, 2015, rebounding from a S$646,000 loss a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter more than doubled, from S$13 million to S$27 million, boosted mainly by higher sales in the HDD components segment.
Full-year net profit grew 12 times, from S$1.1 million to S$12.6 million. Revenue for the year saw a 55 per cent year-on-year increase, from S$59 million to S$92 million.
Earnings per share for the quarter was 1.09 Singapore cents versus a loss per share of 0.21 Singapore cent a year ago. On a full-year basis, earnings per share climbed from 0.35 Singapore cent to 4.18 Singapore cents.
Cheung Woh shares closed at S$0.225 on Monday, down half cent, before the results were released.
