China fintech group to expand in S-E Asia

LEADING Chinese Internet finance service provider Credit China Holdings (CC) is looking to South-east Asia's budding fintech industry for growth opportunities.
Hong Kong-listed CC focuses on fintech products and services and is chaired by the former CEO and executive director of Chinese financial services giant Haitong Securities, Li Ming Shan. Its vice-chairman and CEO, Phang Yew Kiat, was formerly the deputy CEO of China Bohai Bank, as well as Standard Chartered Bank's general manager for SME business in Singapore and Malaysia.
