Chip Eng Seng drops spin-off plan

Chip Eng Seng Corporation on Monday said it would drop plans to spin-off its subsidiaries that are in the construction business.

"The company has decided not to proceed with the proposed restructuring, having taken into account numerous factors, such as prevailing market conditions, amongst others," it said.
