Third cord-blood bank gets licence
CRYOVIVA Singapore, a joint-venture company between SGX-Catalist-listed AsiaMedic Ltd and Cryoviva International, has been licensed to run Singapore's third private cord-blood bank. The company was set up last July. Cord-blood banking, one of the fastest growing segments in the healthcare industry, was valued at US$12.4 billion in 2012.
