IT'S hard to imagine someone more enthusiastic about concrete than Pan-United Corporation's (PUC) CEO, May Ng.
"We're nuts about concrete!" she confesses, after rhapsodising about the many (and sometimes surprising) applications for concrete.
One of Forbes's "Asia Power Women 2016", Ms Ng would know. After all, she leads Singapore's largest supplier of cement and ready-mixed concrete, and has been with the Singapore Exchange-listed firm since 1988 - even before the group started its cement business in 1995.
Founded in 1958 by Ms Ng's father, PUC's core business is today spread over three areas: basic building resources, port management, and shipping.
