NERA Telecommunications' third-quarter net profit fell 43.3 per cent to S$2 million, or 0.55 Singapore cent per share, for the three months ended September. For the first nine months of the year, net profit fell 22.4 per cent to S$9 million, or 2.49 Singapore cents a share. Revenue fell 20.2 per cent to S$39.6 million in Q3. Sales from the telecom business fell on a slowdown in the Middle East and Africa, while sales of network equipment and point-of-sales terminals also fell.
