SINGAPORE Press Holdings (SPH) has appointed former Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) chief executive Ng Yat Chung as an independent director. The appointment takes effect on Aug 1. He will be a member on the board risk committee.
Mr Ng, 54, is currently executive director of NOL, a position he held since June 9, 2016. "Prior to this, he was NOL's Group President & CEO from 1 October 2011 and its Executive Director & CEO Designate from 1 May 2011 to 30 September 2011," said SPH. He is also chairman of the board of trustees at the Singapore Institute of Technology.
