HSBC
HSBC has roped in Jackson Tai, a veteran banker with "deep knowledge of Asia and China" and a former chief executive officer of Singapore's DBS Bank, to its board, according to The New York Times.
Mr Tai, 66, who was also DBS's former vice-chairman, would join its board as an independent non-executive director, effective Monday.
