Sembcorp Industries
SEMBCORP Industries (Sembcorp) announced that it will be developing two grid-tied rooftop solar energy systems to supply renewable power directly to ST Aerospace facilities in Changi and Seletar. The project is expected to cost approximately S$5.4 million, and will be funded internally.
Construction for these systems will begin this month, and is targeted to be completed by February 2018 and April 2018 for its Changi and Seletar facilities respectively, Sembcorp said.
With a combined capacity of 4.1 MW, both photovoltaic systems will be built, owned, operated and maintained by Sembcorp, it added. The announcement comes on the back of similar solar energy projects by Sembcorp at two airfreight terminals at Singapore's Changi Airport, as well as at the premises of Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore and Stolthaven …
