CREATIVE Technology has been awarded some S$36 million in its legal proceedings in Singapore against Chinese telecoms company Huawei for damages and losses suffered in relation to a failed wireless broadband project - after a five-year-long court case.
Singapore-listed Creative said on Wednesday that the court has held that Huawei was "liable for misrepresentation and was grossly negligent", and, in the alternative, "liable for breach of contract", in its judgment issued on Wednesday.
