CSC secures S$178 million worth of contracts since April
MAINBOARD-LISTED foundation and geotechnical engineering specialist CSC Holdings Limited on Friday said it has been awarded contracts worth about S$178 million since the start of its financial year 2017 on April 1.
This was boosted by ongoing infrastructure projects in Singapore and an industrial project in Malaysia, said CSC.
The Singapore projects include foundation contracts for three MRT stations along the East Coast Stretch of the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL), which will involve the construction of diaphragm walls, ground improvement works, bored piles, barrette piles and micro-piles for the Amber Station, Bayshore Station and Sungei Bedok Station.
CSC has also been awarded contracts for land preparation works for airfields and related ancillary works at Changi East, where it will provide ground improvement and driven-pile services.
In Malaysia, contracts secured by the group include the construction of foundations using reinforced concrete piles for the RAPID project in Malaysia, which is developed by Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas.
CSC added that as at Friday, its order book stood at about S$200 million.
