Director buying remains high, selling stays low
THE buying was high for the third straight week while the selling among directors remained very low based on filings on the Singapore Exchange from Nov 14 to Nov 18.
A total of 10 companies recorded 24 purchases worth S$1.66 million versus one firm with two disposals worth S$0.12 million.
The number of companies and trades on the buying side were slightly down from the previous week's 12 firms and 29 purchases. The buy value, however, was sharply up from the previous week's acquisitions worth S$1.02 million. The sales, on the other hand, were consistent with the previous week's one company, two disposals and S$0.12 million.
Meanwhile, the buyback activity surged for the second straight week with 18 companies that posted 57 repurchases worth S$11.9 million. The number of firms and trades were sharply up from the previous week's nine companies and 38 transactions. The value, however…
