Directors' buying down for 5th straight week
THE buying fell for the fifth straight week while the selling among directors was flat based on filings on the Singapore Exchange in the fourth week of October.
A total of four companies recorded seven purchases worth S$1.61 million versus two firms with four disposals worth S$1.31 million.
The buy figures were sharply down from the previous week's eight companies, 14 purchases and S$3.12 million.
On the selling side, the number of firms and trades were consistent with the previous week's three companies and four disposals. The sell value, however, was sharply up from the previous week's disposals worth S$0.55 million.
Meanwhile, buyback activity fell for the first time in the past three weeks with seven companies that posted 24 repurchases worth S$6.6 million. The figu…
