DSM opens Nutrition Innovation Centre for Asia-Pac region in Singapore
DSM Nutritional Products has opened a Nutrition Innovation Centre for Asia Pacific as part of its new S$8.8 million premises at Mapletree Business City.
The centre is an integral part of an expanded DSM Singapore office, alongside similar facilities located in China, Brazil, Switzerland and the US.
Fully integrated into a cross-functional 40,000 square foot complex, the purpose-built facility brings together the company's full range of marketing and technical capabilities under one roof.
It will provide end-to-end value chain support for the region's customers.
Stefan Doboczky, member of the managing board of Royal DSM, said: "This investment is of high strategic relevance for DSM and fully aligned with our corporate strategy. It underpins our commitment to innovation and the region."
A key component of the Innovation Centre is a customer brand-centric "Co-Creation Hub", which will aid innovation and acceleration of new products and brands to market.
Beh Swan Gin, chairman of the Singapore Economic Development Board, noted that the new DSM centre will bolster Singapore's position as the choice location in Asia where consumer packaged goods companies can create and grow global products and brands.
