MOST of the Jardine conglomerate's businesses did well last year despite more challenging trading conditions, the group said as it posted a strong set of full-year earnings yesterday.
Better showings at its engineering and aviation services group Jardine Pacific and car dealers Jardine Motors and Jardine Cycle & Carriage offset a tumble at Indonesian automotive firm Astra International that came on the back of a weaker Indonesian rupiah.
