Electricity futures trading will have a 'gradual start'
SGX CEO sees a 'period of discovery' from Oct till spreads tighten

THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) is prepared for "a gradual start" when trading of electricity futures here kicks off in October, says CEO Magnus Bocker.
From industry feedback, "there will be a period of discovery during which spreads will be wider and trading activity slower", he conceded.
